New Meta Quest Pro introduced

Mark Zuckerberg today unveiled the new Metin VR/MR hedset on his Facebook profile. It is a new, advanced hedset that was made with the aim of “expanding the possibilities of virtual reality”. The Hedset comes with virtual (VR) and mixed reality (MR) capabilities and is equipped with facial expression tracking sensors, internal tracking controllers, and many advanced features.

In the video, we can see what the Meta Quest Pro and controllers will look like. “This is the new Meta Quest Pro. The first in our new range of advanced hedsets,” Zuckerberg says in the video. “Hedset takes everything users love about Quest 2 and adds an abundance of new technology to allow you to get more out of the metaverse. With built-in mixed reality, it allows you to do things that just weren’t possible before. If you’re looking for a new way to do things or just want the best experience available today, Quest Pro sets a new standard.”

Expensive, but high-quality

Bloombmerg Adria states that the Meta Quest Pro will cost $ 1 500 (about 11 650 kn), which is quite a lot; three times more than Quest 2. However, the high cost is justified by the numerous technological improvements that Quest Pro has over Quest 2.

The target with its new hedset plans to expand the audience. Until now, their VR hedsets were known for gaming, but now they are trying to extend the utility and use of their devices to business environments. So, some of The Quest Pro’s new features are aimed at more of a business audience.
